Egas Vieira

Born in Lisbon, 1962.

Co-founder of Atelier Contemporânea, together with Graça Dias, has numerous projects in Portugal and Spain (Seville).
He was distinguished with honorable mentions and various awards, including the 1st place in the competition for the Pavilion of Portugal at Expo'92 in Seville and the 1st place in the competition for the construction of the new headquarters of AAP / Banhos de S. Paulo ( currently, Order of Architects) in Lisbon (1991), both in association with Manuel Graça Dias. These architects also won the AICA / Ministry of Culture Award (Architecture), for 1999, for all their work.
