João Falcão Campos
Born in Lisbon, 1961.
After completing his degree in Architecture from the Technical University of Lisbon, Architect João Falcão de Campos worked with several notable architects in Italy and Switzerland.
Later, he opened his own studio and since then collaborates with Siza Vieira and Gonçalo Byrne regularly. He is a frequent participant in conferences and seminars, exhibits regularly and has won several important awards in the area - 1st Prize in the 1st and 3rd Edition of the Beja Municipal Prize (1997 and 1999), Honorable Mention Public Space BIAU'08 - VI Ibero-American Biennial of Architecture and Urbanism (2008), AICA Award (2013), selected in the IBEROAMERICAN WORKS OVERVIEW of the IX BIAU - Iberoamerican Biennial of Architecture and Urbanism (2014), FAD Architecture Award (2014), among others. He is also guest lecturer in Portuguese and foreign schools.
